Opus IVS

Opus IVS will be at Booth #32807 in South Upper Hall, where it will showcase DrivePro2™ and DriveSafe2™, featuring OEM-level ADAS diagnostics built for speed and reliability, and next generation calibration technology.

The company will announce a first-of-its-kind repair planning tool — the collision repair industry’s first solution built to eliminate repair planning chaos.

Opus IVS is also offering a SEMA exclusive deal: the first month free of hotline access for CarDAQ-Pro 360, the ultimate companion tool for vehicle diagnostics, allowing repairers to complete what their scan tool can’t with factory-trained master tech support. Early access is available now here.

Visit www.opusivs.com/sema2025 for more information and to schedule a booth visit.

AkzoNobel

Rendering of custom build Ballistic.

AkzoNobel will exhibit at two locations: indoors at Booth #33129 in South Lower Hall, and at a rig outside, together with Dave Kindig, television star of MotorTrend Network’s “Bitchin’ Rides” and creator of custom car company Kindig-it Design.

The indoor booth will feature serious eye candy: a custom build by AkzoNobel customer Miller & Son Collision from Lancaster, NY, painted with Sikkens. The futuristic build, named Ballistic, is still under wraps for now. The official unveiling takes place at 9:30 a.m. on opening day, Nov. 4.

Also on display all week and ready for a test drive: the company’s Sikkens and Lesonal brands; its patented, state-of-the-art, digital body shop workflow control solution Carbeat; and other innovative digital tools; as well as AkzoNobel’s brand-new Sikkens Autowave Optima, the new one-stop application waterborne basecoat that can cut processing times in half, compared to conventional basecoat application methods. Optima doesn’t require flash-off between layers, so technicians only need to go into the spray booth once.

AkzoNobel’s Acoat Selected service consultants will be on hand all day, every day of the show, to give customers demonstrations of these tools.

Stop by the indoor booth to get a giveaway.

Outside, at Booth #81220 in the Silver Lot, AkzoNobel and Kindig-it Design are showing off a whole row of truly one-of-a-kind vehicles — including a 1969 Camaro painted in Sikkens, a 1957 Oldsmobile painted in Modern Classikk Black Ice and Quarterhorse Brown, and a Kindig custom CF1 Fastback painted in Modern Classikk Black Ice.

These bitchin’ builds stay wrapped up until the big reveal at 9 a.m. Nov. 4. SEMA Live will be broadcasting from the AkzoNobel/Kindig-It Design rig during these unveilings.

In addition to the company’s two show locations, AkzoNobel will also have its paint featured on show cars throughout the massive SEMA event, including:

• 1953 CF1 Cabriolet by Kindig-it Design, painted with Modern Classikk Peribolical
• 2015 Chevy Suburban by Kindig-it Design, painted with Modern Classikk Nostalgic Blue
• 1953 CF1 Cabriolet by Kindig-it Design, painted with Modern Classikk Discreet
• 1953 CF1 Roadster by Kindig-it Design, painted with Modern Classikk Cyanora
• 1979 Pontiac Trans Am by David Stolp of Superior Quality Restoration, painted with Sikkens

Collision repair professionals are invited to visit SUN at the Snap-on® Total Shop Solutions (TSS™) Booth #32017 in South Upper Hall and the Mitchell 1 Booth #11239 in North Hall to see firsthand how SUN’s exclusive 1Search™ Plus technology is transforming the way technicians access OEM information for collision and mechanical repairs.

Key features to be highlighted include:

SUN 1Search Plus

1Search Plus Navigation: 1Search Plus simplifies the repair process by delivering information in a clear, card-based layout that mirrors a technician’s workflow. Each card covers key tasks and data, including materials, component locations, remove and replace (R&R) procedures and technical bulletins. This design lets technicians quickly cut through clutter find the right information — fast.

SureTack Real Fixes: For mechanical repairs, 1Search Plus provides both OEM-licensed data and real-world insights from the SureTrack® community of professional technicians. The database features 45+ million SureTrack Fixes based on actual repair orders, with targeted information presented through its card-based format as SureTrack Real Fixes, Top Repairs and Causes and Fixes.

ADAS Diagnostics & Repairs: Show demonstrations will highlight ADAS information, enabling technicians to diagnose and repair components such as sensors, cameras, radar and control modules. A dedicated Driver Assist quick link provides a complete overview of ADAS components for a selected vehicle, with detailed procedures, specifications and diagrams for repair and calibration.

Interactive Wiring Diagrams: Attendees can see how SUN’s interactive wiring diagrams can accelerate electrical diagnostics. The color-coded diagrams take technicians directly to the component information without a secondary lookup.

Component names are active hyperlinks that take users straight to the information they need, including location, connector views and replacement procedures.

Repair Package for Instant Blueprints: Demonstrations will show how SUN’s powerful search engine delivers targeted information for the SUN Collision Repair Package, helping service writers and estimators generate fast, accurate repair blueprints in just a few clicks. This exclusive feature integrates with estimating systems, mapping data with OEM repair information to support insurance claims.

Comprehensive Coverage: SUN Collision Repair Information offers web-based access to comprehensive collision and mechanical repair data for all makes and models, including most electric and hybrid vehicles. Collision data covers model years 2004 to current while mechanical information goes as far back as 1960.
