Fix Auto Tempe, located in Arizona, has successfully secured both Rivian and GM certifications, further enhancing its reputation in the collision repair industry. This milestone marks a major achievement for the repair center, which has long been dedicated to delivering top-tier service for electric vehicles (EVs) and other makes and models.

Fix Auto Tempe also has its I-CAR Gold Class certification, as well as those from Subaru and Tesla, demonstrating its ability to handle a wide range of repair needs with expertise and precision.

Certifications Reflect Dedication and Expertise

The certification process for Rivian and GM was no easy feat. According to Stephen Bozer, co-owner of Fix Auto Tempe, the team pursued the Rivian certification for four years, navigating rigorous requirements set forth by the automaker.

"We are thrilled to finally be certified and in partnership with Rivian to deliver first-class, OEM-compliant collision repairs," said Bozer.

The process required Fix Auto Tempe to demonstrate its ability to meet Rivian’s stringent standards for repair quality, training and equipment. This included taking on additional training, including traveling out of state to attend on-site training with Rivian, and investing in specialized tools and equipment necessary for working on the automaker’s vehicles.

GM is another key player in the rapidly growing EV sector. The certification enables Fix Auto Tempe to service Chevrolet, GMC and Cadillac electric vehicles, which are expanding in popularity as GM ramps up its EV production.

As more OEMs like GM and Rivian introduce new EV models, collision repair centers like Fix Auto Tempe are at the forefront of meeting the unique needs of these vehicles.

A Long Journey to Certification

The achievement of the Rivian and GM certifications was made possible thanks to the dedication of Fix Auto Tempe’s team. Bozer emphasized the crucial role played by every team member. "These certifications are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, from taking photos of equipment to purchasing new tools and undergoing training," he said.

Damien Reyna, COO of Driven Brands, parent company of Fix Auto USA, praised the milestone. “Fix Auto Tempe's Rivian and GM certification is a great milestone for the company and exemplifies the caliber of service we strive to maintain across our network,” Reyna said. “Their dedication to excellence is inspiring, and we're proud to have them as part of the Fix Auto USA family.”
