The Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG), a community of industry professionals under the age of 40 within the Auto Care Association, announced a $7,500 contribution to the Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF). The donation reaffirms YANG’s ongoing commitment to supporting fellow members of the automotive aftermarket community during times of personal hardship.
“As members of the Young Auto Care Network Group, we’re proud to support the Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation and the vital work they do for families in need,” said Matt Fowler, chair of YANG. “This donation is more than a contribution — it’s a reflection of our industry’s heart and our commitment to lifting each other up. Together, we drive change that truly matters.”
In addition to the direct donation, YANG raised funds through its ongoing #YANGGivesBack T-shirt fundraising campaign, launched in 2023. The year-round initiative allows donors to purchase campaign T-shirts at Auto Care Association events and YANG regional meetups, with all proceeds directed to AACF.
“On behalf of AACF, I want to extend our sincere gratitude to YANG for their continued annual support,” said John Kairys, executive director of AACF. “The generosity of this vibrant and driven group of young professionals is not only inspiring but essential to the future of our industry. YANG represents the next generation of leadership, innovation and compassion in the aftermarket. Their commitment to giving back reminds us that age is no barrier to impact.”
Founded in 1959, the AACF offers financial assistance to automotive aftermarket members and their families who are coping with catastrophic illness, injury or accidents and have exhausted all other forms of support.
