Maaco announced the grand opening of a new franchise in Arden, NC, operated by local entrepreneur Michael Maurer. The facility will serve both individual drivers and local fleet operators, offering Maaco’s well-known auto painting and collision repair services.
Maurer, who also owns an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) business, was motivated by his own experience managing a fleet of vans.
“As a business owner with a fleet of vans, I know firsthand how important it is to keep vehicles looking professional and road-ready,” Maurer said in a news release. “Opening a Maaco allows me to provide these services not only to my own fleet but also to other businesses and individuals in the Arden area.”
The new Maaco Arden facility is staffed by a team of eight, including a manager, estimator, four body technicians, a painter and a detailer, all focused on delivering the quality workmanship customers expect from the brand.
In addition to serving local customers, Maurer aims to make a broader impact through community engagement. He plans to support recovery efforts tied to Hurricane Helene and contribute to Make-A-Wish, organizations he says align with his values.
“We are excited to welcome Michael Maurer to the Maaco family,” said Tyson Disbennett, senior director of operations at Maaco. “His business experience and dedication to quality service make him a valuable addition to our Maaco family.”
