The Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) announced it welcomed Lucid as its newest corporate member, underscoring the EV maker’s commitment to supporting collision repair efforts in advancing safe, high-quality collision repair through collaboration and industry engagement.
Lucid joins SCRS with a clear vision: to strengthen the connection between OEMs and the collision repair community. By engaging with repair professionals, suppliers and industry stakeholders, Lucid seeks to ensure that evolving repair standards and processes reflect real-world challenges faced by body shops.
“At Lucid, we recognize that collision repair is not just a technical process — it’s a brand experience for our customers,” said Devin Wilcox, senior manager of body repair program operations at Lucid. “By joining SCRS, we’re aligning with an organization that shares our values of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The Lucid Certified Collision Network was built on a foundation of hands-on OEM training, emphasizing the unique complexities of repairing advanced materials, high-voltage systems and ADAS technologies. Lucid’s focus on technician education ensures that every repair meets the highest safety and quality standards.
The network held its first-ever conference in 2024 in Scottsdale, AZ.
By participating in SCRS, Lucid will contribute its OEM perspective to critical industry discussions on repairability, technician support and training. The company envisions an industry where open dialogue and collaboration lead to continuous improvements in repair standards and practices — ultimately ensuring that vehicle owners receive safe, proper repairs.
