Hunter Adds Bosch Remote Diagnostics Service to ADASLink

Hunter Engineering's ADASLink calibration and diagnostic scan tool now includes Remote Diagnostics Service (RDS), powered by Bosch. The feature links shops with Bosch diagnostic specialists for OEM software access, scan and calibration help, fault code review, coding support, and repair documentation.

With ADASLink connected to the vehicle, a technician opens the RDS menu, chooses pre-scan, post-scan, steering system reset, or ADAS support, and describes the help needed. The system reads the VIN automatically and starts a live chat with a Bosch expert, who can run scans and steering resets remotely, supply ADAS target setup specs, or complete calibrations. When the job is done, the system produces a calibration confirmation, OE-level documentation, and suggested next steps.

Hunter said the service is aimed at independent shops, collision centers, glass shops, and MSOs looking to reduce sublet work and skip the cost of keeping several OEM scan tools and software subscriptions on hand.

"By integrating remote diagnostics expertise from Bosch into the ADASLink platform, customers can confidently perform scans, calibrations and advanced diagnostics with transparent pricing and insurer-ready documentation," said Ryan Gerber, Hunter ADAS product specialist.

"Bosch Remote Diagnostics Service gives shops a direct connection to Bosch diagnostic expertise and OEM software through the tools they already use," said Todd Hertzler, regional president of Bosch Mobility Aftermarket North America.
