VIVE Collision, a fast growing MSO in the Northeast, has acquired Evolve: Electric Vehicle Specialists in New Castle, DE—its first location in the state and its 63rd location overall.

The move reflects VIVE’s strategy of expanding its geographic reach while investing in EV repair capability, especially in purpose-built, OEM-certified facilities.

Founded in 2022, Evolve was designed exclusively for EV collision repair, with a 35,000-square-foot facility featuring 25 repair bays and infrastructure to support battery pack servicing, structural aluminum repair and advanced diagnostics. It holds OEM certifications from Tesla, Rivian and Polestar.

“Evolve represents the future of collision repair,” said VIVE CEO Vartan Jerian Jr. “Their purpose-built EV facility, technician training model, and OEM certifications make them one of the most advanced operations we’ve seen. This is more than geographic growth; it’s a leap forward in how we serve our teammates, partners, and customers.”

The acquisition of Evolve brings VIVE’s footprint to 10 states, including Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and now Delaware.

Earlier reporting from Autobody News noted that VIVE was approaching 50 locations in mid 2024 and had been targeting operationally strong, often family-run shops for acquisition. The Evolve deal signals a further evolution in strategy: adding technically advanced, EV-specific centers that enhance not just scale, but capability.

“Bringing them into the VIVE family accelerates our focus on electric and hybrid vehicle repair,” Jerian said in the release.
