Ken’s CARSTAR North in Dalton, GA, owned by Jamie White, hosted its annual Soaps It Up charity car wash on July 12, bringing in approximately $1,800 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Miracle League of Whitfield County.
Held at the repair center, the event attracted strong community participation, with about 50 vehicles washed by volunteers, customers and local supporters. The event, first launched in 2018, continues to grow as a community-driven tradition blending charitable giving with local engagement.
“We’re proud to be part of this community and to give back in ways that make a real difference,” said White. “Soaps It Up has become a tradition we look forward to every year — not just because it’s fun, but because we know the impact it has on families right here in Whitfield County.”
Adding to the festive atmosphere, local radio station Mix 104.5 broadcasted live from the event, helping to raise awareness and encourage additional turnout and donations.
The Soaps It Up initiative is part of a larger North American effort by CARSTAR collision centers to support charitable causes at both local and national levels.

All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Miracle League of Whitfield County, two organizations focused on improving the lives of children and families through medical research and inclusive recreational programs.
