ADAS Assist launches calibration verification platform for collision shops
ADAS Assist, based in Omaha, Nebraska, has released software that pairs calibration verification with business management tools for collision repairers and calibration businesses.
The company said its team, which has backgrounds in collision repair and calibration, spent years relying on an outside scrubbing tool that was right about 70% of the time in practice. After running into similar problems with other products, the group decided to develop its own.
The platform has two connected parts. The ADAS Verification System (AVS) reviews a shop’s estimate, flags the calibrations and associated operations the repair calls for, ties each one to the specific estimate line behind it, and links to the OEM procedure that applies. ADAS Assist said AVS holds results until it reaches well above 90% confidence. The Customer Management System (CMS) covers pricing, technician management and daily calendars, job scheduling, and invoicing.
To get a quote, a shop uploads its estimate and answers a few questions about the damage. It then gets a VIN-specific quote backed by documentation, plus the OEM materials that support it.
“We are not programmers. We are collision professionals who have run shops, managed technicians, and answered for a missed calibration,” said James Rodis of ADAS Assist.
Rodis said the system is already handling calibration quotes and workflows for hundreds of shops across the U.S. Shops can request access online or by calling (402) 315-5800.
Surventis publishes first sustainability report
Surventis, the former BASF Coatings, has issued its first sustainability report, which covers fiscal 2025, and reaffirmed its targets through 2030. The company’s brands include Glasurit and R-M.
Surventis said it has cut Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 45% since 2018, with a goal of 50% by 2030. More than 70% of the electricity it uses worldwide now comes from renewable sources, and the company is aiming for over 90% by 2030. The per-unit carbon footprint of its purchased raw materials (Scope 3.1) is down 15%, against a 20% goal. Energy intensity has improved 26%, against a 30% goal.
Sustainable solutions accounted for 32% of 2025 sales across the portfolio the company evaluated, and Surventis wants that share above 35% by 2030. Those solutions include more than 200 mass balance products.
Surventis prepared the report voluntarily under the VSME Standard from the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group. It covers a year in which the company was a BASF unit. Carlyle-managed funds now own Surventis, and BASF retains a 40% stake.
“As an independent company, we can now act on that responsibility with sharper focus, greater accountability, and increased speed,” said CEO Jens Luehring.
