Automakers recently released sales results for August 2025, many showing an increase over the same month a year ago, boosted by sales of electrified vehicles before federal incentives end Sept. 30.
Ford
Ford U.S. sales rose 3.9% in August 2025 to 190,206 units, powered by surging electric and hybrid vehicle deliveries, which together accounted for 29,444 units, rising 16.2% year-over-year, with EVs up 19.3% to 10,671 units, and hybrids up 14.5% to 18,773 units.
