Ford Motor Co.’s On Target 2026 Volume 3 newsletter outlines Workshop Manual steps for re-powering the Bronco’s supplemental restraint system (SRS) after a repair. “The SRS must be fully operational and free of faults before releasing the vehicle to the customer,” it states. Ford also calls for a roofline damage check before a safety canopy or side air curtain is installed.
The issue covers 2026 Expedition seatbelts as well. The second- and third-row child seat tether anchors are part of the seat backrest frame, and Ford says they should not be repaired; “a new seat backrest frame should be installed.” Other topics include 2025 Lincoln Nautilus A-pillar trim panel removal and installation and rear-rail sectioning on some 2020–2025 Explorer and Lincoln Aviator models.
Trapped water can knock out rearview cameras on 93,997 Range Rovers
Jaguar Land Rover North America LLC is recalling 93,997 2022–2026 Land Rover Range Rover SUVs because water can collect around the tailgate-mounted rearview camera. Its Part 573 report to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) says the water can damage the camera over time, leaving a blurred image or none at all.
The automaker cites 2,295 U.S. claims and field reports tied to camera replacement and no crashes or injuries. Under campaign 26V678, dealers will drill extra drainage holes in the bottom of the camera’s tailgate trim and replace the camera if needed. Owner letters are due by Dec. 11.
A loose fuel tube joint can leak on 105,794 Land Cruiser Hybrids
Toyota is recalling 105,794 2024–2027 Land Cruiser Hybrid SUVs because a resin fuel tube on the fuel tank can separate from the main metal fuel line. According to the Part 573 report, the joint can come apart if the clip holding the connector is pulled up, and fuel can leak until the hybrid’s engine shuts off.
Toyota has not confirmed the cause and cites a fire risk if leaking fuel meets an ignition source. Under campaign 26V673, dealers will inspect the joint and add a supplemental clamp, replacing the resin tube as needed. Owner letters go out in phases from Nov. 29 to Dec. 13.
