CIF Reflects on Success of 12th Annual Charity Event

CIF-gala-2023

The Collision Industry Foundation (CIF) saw record attendance for the annual charity event, Cocktails for a Cause. Close to 200 industry friends joined the CIF trustees Jan. 18 at the Agua Caliente Casino 360 Sports Bar in Palm Springs, CA.

The event featured live drawing for prizes, great food and beverages, industry networking and, for the first time ever, the CIF Live Auction.

The goal of the annual charity event is to raise funds for emergency relief to collision repair professionals in times of crisis---when natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornados, flooding, wildfires or other catastrophic events occur. A presentation loop on the big screen highlighted the work that CIF was able to perform over more than 20 years through generous industry support. A full list of all donors can be found on the CIF website at www.collisionindustryfoundation.org.

To kick off the evening, CIF Vice President Casey Steffen from St. Gobain Abrasives welcomed the crowd and thanked everyone for their support. He extended a special heartfelt thank you to all annual, general and in-kind donors. Acknowledgement was also given to the event sponsors. Without everyone’s generous contributions, CIF could not fulfill its work. Steffen then introduced Trustee Paul Hill, who led the attendees through the live auction and the prize drawing.

Thanks to the success of the 12th annual charity event, and all the generous donors and sponsors, CIF will continue to fulfill its vision and mission into the future.
