The Caliber family of automotive repair and service brands, including Caliber Collision and Caliber Auto Glass, kicked off the annual Restoring You™ Food Drive across more than 1,800 locations nationwide, aiming to surpass 2024’s success by delivering 6 million meals to those facing food insecurity.

Running from May 5 to June 20, the initiative will support more than 200 food banks in 41 states, with non-perishable food and monetary donations accepted in person or online. In addition, the Caliber Foundation, the company's nonprofit arm, will contribute 50 cents for every dollar donated.

“Our annual food drive event is an extension of each Caliber teammate’s commitment and our broader nationwide effort to support our local communities,” said Todd Dillender, chief operating officer of Caliber. “We are enormously proud of this effort as a testament to our unwavering dedication to our customers and their neighbors, many of whom may face challenges in keeping food on their tables.”

The campaign builds on last year’s achievement, which delivered more than 5 million meals and raised more than $800,000. Since its launch 13 years ago, Caliber’s food drive initiative has provided more than 36 million meals nationwide.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, food insecurity impacts approximately one in five U.S. households -- about 13.5% -- a rate that has grown significantly in recent years. In 2023 alone, more than 50 million Americans relied on food assistance programs, including 14 million children.

Caliber encourages customers, teammates and business partners to contribute before the June 20 deadline. Donations are tax-deductible and can be made online at RYFoodDrive.com.

“Restoring the rhythm of our customers’ lives doesn’t stop at ensuring their vehicles run smoothly,” Dillender added. “We are once again excited to extend our support and look forward to seeing our communities come together to make a difference.”
