Under the leadership of CEO George Grubbs III, the fourth-generation family-owned and operated business, with locations across Texas and Oklahoma, has set a benchmark for the automotive industry. Grubbs has led the dealership group to adopt practices that not only contribute to a healthier planet but also foster a sense of responsibility and community spirit among its team and clientele.
The dealerships' commitment to sustainability is evident in their construction and operational standards, all aligned with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) guidelines, including the addition of 48 standard and four fast-charging EV ports at their facilities.
The group has partnerships with environmental organizations like EarthX and Dallas-Fort Worth Clean Cities, and sponsors Dallas Drive EV.
Cox Automotive President Steve Rowley commended Grubbs for embodying the Cox commitment to a sustainable future and lauded the group's tradition of community service and environmental stewardship. In recognition of their leadership in green business practices, Grubbs Family of Dealerships will receive $10,000 to fund further sustainability projects.
