TechForce Foundation and the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) have announced a nonprofit collaboration aimed at strengthening the pipeline of skilled technicians by offering students enhanced access to education resources, career support and scholarships.

As part of the initiative, NTHS is funding two $2,500 scholarships, which will be administered by TechForce. The partnership’s goal is to connect NTHS members with TechForce’s comprehensive network of training tools, grants and career opportunities, while also encouraging those same students to participate in NTHS programs.

“This collaborative agreement amplifies the impact of both our organizations,” said Jennifer Maher, CEO of TechForce Foundation. “TechForce is eager to connect NTHS’s members with our career building resources, and prepare students for real world success in their education and career goals.”

Peyton Holland, executive director of NTHS, said the collaboration furthers both groups’ shared mission of supporting students in technical education. “By connecting our members with the TechForce network and resources, and TechForce encouraging participation in NTHS, we’re opening doors for students to gain not only recognition, but also the real-world skills and opportunities they need to thrive in their careers,” Holland said.

The NTHS Scholarship application is now open within the TechForce system and will remain available through June 30, 2025. NTHS members can access the application portal via NTHS.org/TechForce, where detailed instructions are provided.

Both organizations bring significant reach and resources to the partnership. TechForce awards more than $6 million annually in scholarships and grants to students pursuing careers as professional technicians, while NTHS recognizes over 100,000 active members each year and distributes more than $300,000 in scholarships.
