Fred Beans Acquires 4 Dealerships, Collision Center in Abington, PA

The automotive group now owns 27 dealerships and seven collision centers, as well as quick-service, rental and commercial truck sales locations.


Fred Beans Automotive Group announced April 23 the recent acquisition of four dealerships and a collision center from Rosenthal Automotive, part of its initiative to broaden its operational scope and enhance customer service.

Abington Collision Center, Acura of Abington, Honda of Abington, Hyundai of Abington and Mazda of Abington now bear the Fred Beans name.

The Abington Collision Center, located inside the Honda dealership, is transitioning to Fred Beans CARSTAR. This change aims to streamline services and enhance quality by employing I-CAR certified technicians and offering convenient services such as free estimates and direct insurance company interactions.

“Although we have much to do in terms of reconfiguring spaces, evaluating resources and building and training teams, we are ready -- on day one -- to deliver on the promise that we put customers first,” said founder and CEO Fred Beans. “That commitment to exceptional customer service is the foundation of our business.”

The group's purchase adds Acura, Honda and Mazda as new brands in its inventory. The group now encompasses 27 dealerships spanning 20 different brands. Also under the Fred Beans umbrella are seven CARSTAR collision centers, two AutoExpress quick-service locations, four AutoRent locations, commercial truck sales and the largest dealer-owned parts operation in the country.

“Our growth in the Abington market means an even bigger selection of vehicles and another CARSTAR collision center for our Fred Beans customers,” said Beth Beans Gilbert, vice president of Fred Beans Automotive Group. “It also gives us the opportunity to expand our customer base and membership in our customer loyalty program, the AutoRewards Club.”

The Fred Beans AutoRewards Club offers points that can be redeemed for significant savings on services and purchases. Members also enjoy exclusive perks such as free first oil changes, state inspections and towing reimbursement, alongside access to special events and local discounts.
