Classic Collision announced two facility openings December 1, including its entry into the Dallas-Fort Worth market — one of the largest U.S. metros where the company had not previously operated.

The multi-site operator opened Classic Collision South Denton in Denton, Texas, about 40 miles north of Dallas, and Classic Collision Oregon City in Oregon City, Ore. The openings bring Classic Collision's total to 353 facilities nationwide.

The Dallas market move puts Classic Collision in direct competition with the four other "Big 5" national consolidators, all of which already operate in the region. Caliber Collision is headquartered in the Dallas area and operates dozens of shops there. Joe Hudson's Collision Center, Crash Champions, and Gerber Collision & Glass also have significant DFW presence.

Classic Collision has been the most active among the Big 5 consolidators in 2025. While the group collectively saw a 60% drop in acquisitions and openings in the first half of the year compared with 2024, Classic Collision was the only one to increase its store count, according to Focus Advisors' mid-year review.

The company described the Denton opening as its official entrance into the Dallas market. "This exciting expansion showcases Classic Collision's dedication to investing in the people, businesses, and neighborhoods that make Texas great," the company said in its announcement.

The Oregon City facility extends Classic Collision's Pacific Northwest footprint. "By combining cutting-edge repair technology with a team of highly skilled technicians, our Oregon City location will deliver the seamless, high-quality collision repair experience customers deserve," the company said.

Classic Collision entered Louisiana in May and has completed acquisitions in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia this year. The company now operates in 21 states.

Classic Collision was founded in 1983 in Atlanta and was acquired by TPG Capital in April 2024. The company said it continues to seek acquisition opportunities and is exploring expansion into new markets.
