Nevada Division of Insurance to Hold Public Forum on Auto Rates

A diverse team will give their unique perspective on the factors influencing rising rates and explore ways to confront the challenge.

The Nevada Division of Insurance it will host a live webinar panel discussion to address questions and concerns about the rising costs of auto insurance in the state.

This event will be held virtually at 10 a.m. PT Nov. 1, and is open to the public. Interested attendees can get more details and register here.

“Car insurance rates are high, and Nevadans should be aware of why those rates are increasing so quickly,” explained Insurance Commissioner Scott Kipper. “It is my hope that this forum will provide not only an understanding of what is driving this phenomenon but also empower Nevadans with practical advice to make good purchasing decisions."

A diverse team of specialists will be on hand to give their unique perspective on the factors that are influencing the rising rates and explore ways to confront the challenge.

Participating organizations include the American Property Casualty Insurance Association, Consumer Federation of America, Insurance Information Institute, Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles Compliance Enforcement Division, Nevada Independent Insurance Agents/The Big I, QuantivRisk Inc. and the Society of Collision Repair Specialists.

Space is limited.
