Women in Auto Care, a community within the Auto Care Association, announced it awarded $448,745 in scholarships and tool kits in 2025 — marking the sixth straight year of record-breaking distributions. The program, which supports women entering the automotive aftermarket, is a cornerstone initiative for promoting gender diversity in a historically male-dominated segment of the repair industry.
The 2025 awards were made possible by 55 sponsors, including longstanding contributors such as Garage Gurus, providing $35,000 annually over six years, and NAPA Carlyle Tools, along with newer backers like Synchrony Car Care ($25,000) and RepairPal ($4,000).
Recipients include 82 women who received scholarships, tool kits — some valued up to $9,000 — and complimentary industry swag boxes.

“Carlyle Tools is extremely proud to partner with the Women in Auto Care,” said Joe Saba, senior product manager, NAPA. “As the private label professional tool and equipment brand of NAPA AUTO PARTS, we share in the Auto Care Associations’ mission to advocate for the automotive aftermarket including its manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, shop owners and most importantly its technicians. We would like to thank the Women in Auto Care for allowing us to be part of this program, and we’d very much like to congratulate each of the scholarship recipients and wish them the best of luck in their future careers in our automotive industry.”
Beyond scholarships, Women in Auto Care operates monthly virtual “Connection Circles”, including a track for Female Shop Management, to create mentorship and peer-to-peer support networks.
