Autobody News correspondent Stacey Phillips Ronak is onsite at Autopromotec, the International Biennial Exhibition of Automotive Equipment and Aftermarket Products, in Bologna, Italy. Held 30 times over the last 60 years, the international trade show will take place this year May 21-24. More than 1,600 companies from 46 countries will showcase their products and services.
“Over the years, Autopromotec has established itself as the place to meet and exchange ideas for the entire aftermarket industry, both at an Italian and an international level,” said show organizers.
From diagnostics equipment and body shop products to software and technology, there will be 583 product categories covering all vehicle and aftermarket product segments.
During the event, a variety of workshops and presentations will be held focusing on connectivity, data access, artificial intelligence (AI), gender equity and sustainability. In addition, there will be a variety of global networking opportunities as part of the International Aftermarket Meetings (IAM) where attendees will gain insight into foreign replacement parts, the future of the body shop industry, and challenges with vehicle electrification.
