A trio of collision repair technology graduates from 2006 recently returned to Pennsylvania College of Technology to address students in the collision repair operations class taught by Eric D. Pruden, instructor of automotive technology.
Ryan M. Arnold, Lanessa (Satteson) Taylor and Gilberto Alicea “shared their experiences in the collision repair industry and encouraged the students to find their place in the industry,” Pruden said. “The students had lots of questions. There are many different jobs in the industry.”
Arnold is a collision estimator for Bergey’s Collision Centers in Montgomery County in Pennsylvania. Taylor serves as manager of Mifflinburg Auto Body, and Alicea is a blueprinter for Glass & Son’s Collision Repair in Reading, PA.
“The three of them stay in touch even though they live in different parts of the state,” Pruden said. The instructor expects more alumni will visit his class later in the semester.
