Wisconsin Family-Owned Collision Shop Marks 70 Years

Founded in 1955, Yach's Body & Custom, Inc., is now led by third-generation owner Henry Yach III.

Yach’s Body & Custom, Inc., in Rib Mountain, WI, a family-owned collision repair shop, is celebrating its 70th anniversary of serving the Wausau area.

Founded in 1955, Yach’s Body & Custom has operated on a mission of repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards while supporting family stewardship across generations.

“I am humbled and honored to be part of this 70th year anniversary celebration for Yach’s Body & Custom, Inc.,” said Henry Yach III, president. “This business was started with a dream and an entrepreneurial spirit by my grandfather Henry Yach. To grow up and watch my dad steward and lead the business and experience the legacy of hard work, perseverance and success is both remarkable and humbling.”

Since 1955, Yach’s Body and Custom has provided quality, skilled auto body repairs with integrity and superior customer service. The family-owned and operated collision repair shop is in the business of repairing vehicles to manufacturer’s standards using proven training, technique and hard work.

The facility has embraced OEM certifications, earning those from FCA, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Infiniti, Subaru, Honda, Alfa Romeo, GM and Ford.

“My family and I are grateful for the opportunity to serve the greater Wausau area and praise God for his faithfulness and provision through the years,” said Yach.

To commemorate the milestone, Yach’s will host a ribbon-cutting event on Oct. 22, including an open house and keynote by Vince Miller.
