Precision Auto Works of LIC, a three-store MSO with locations in New York City and Long Island, has been acquired by Driving Force Collision, backed by TRP Capital Partners, according to a news release from advisory firms Hammer Group Holdings and Zoran Advisors.
The sale was finalized in November 2024, but the announcement was delayed to “ensure seamless integration and to unveil the partnership at an optimal time,” the news release said.
Precision Auto Works of LIC’s three locations collectively span about 48,000 square feet of production space. Strategically located to serve the New York metropolitan and Long Island markets, the state-of-the-art repair centers are renowned for their commitment to quality, holding OEM certifications for EV makers Tesla, Lucid and Rivian. The company was the first factory-trained Tesla-certified repair shop in New York.
With significant investments in advanced equipment, continuous technician training, and certifications from leading automotive brands, Precision Auto Works of LIC has established itself as one of the most reputable and successful MSOs in the region.
This acquisition marks Driving Force Collision’s entry into the Northeast, serving as a launchpad for TRP Capital Partners’ collision division in the region. Based in Michigan, TRP Capital Partners brings more than 125 years of combined transportation-based investing experience, with $1.2 billion of equity in 33 platform transactions, 200 add-ons and greenfields, and 28 years in the transportation space.
The deal provides Driving Force a strong footprint in the competitive New York and tri-state markets.

Duvall is a seasoned collision repair management executive, having worked at Service King and Crash Champions. Foulke has extensive experience as an area manager for Service King and regional manager at Grand Sport Auto Body & Glass.
