CAA Capitol Chapter Meeting Features BAR Presentation

CAA Capitol Chapter Meeting Features BAR Presentation

The CAA Capitol chapter held a successful meeting Jan. 10 in Sacramento, CA, featuring a presentation from the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR.)

With many auto body shop owners, managers and employees in attendance, the topic of storage was discussed.

During the Q&A many issues were addressed such as when a shop can begin charging storage fees, what is considered a “reasonable” storage fee, how and when a lien arises and more.

A copy of the presentation given by Matt Gibson of the BAR can be found here.
