1Collision Extends SCRS Membership Across Entire Network

1Collision has aligned with the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) to make SCRS membership available to all businesses within the network.
1Collision’s focus on corporate-level support to affiliated collision repair centers spans all business areas---business planning, operations and office management, training, purchasing power, industry relations, human resources and recruiting support, marketing, web presence and more---making SCRS a logical partner in delivering resources to network members.
The network locations span Arizona, California, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin in the U.S., and in 2020, 1Collision merged with CSN Collision Centres in Canada, expanding the North American footprint.
"Partnering with a forward-thinking organization like SCRS was an easy decision for 1Collision, and a logical next step," said John Keller, director of business operations. "Many of our goals align with SCRS, including continued education on safe and proper repairs and providing multiple layers of support for independent, family owned and operated collision repair facilities across the country."

Kelly Cooper, 1Collision’s director of field operations, added SCRS has always shown its commitment to advancing the collision industry and 1Collision looks forward to aligning with the organization.
"The programs and tools they have in place do just that," he said. "The recent results of the Blend Study demonstrate that. It was executed in a fair manner for both insurers and repairers alike, putting the consumer first."
Cooper expanded that SCRS’s work on a national health care program and 401(k) was no small feat and is a great opportunity for 1Collision locations and the industry.
