Gary Keyes Hired as Executive Director of Florida Auto Care Alliance

The Auto Care Alliance (ACA) is proud to announce its Florida association, the Florida Auto Care Alliance (FLACA), headquartered in Jacksonville, has hired Gary Keyes as its new executive director. Keyes brings with him years of experience as a shop owner and board member, making him a perfect fit for this position.

Keyes has been involved in the automotive industry for more than 30 years. He started his career as a technician and eventually opened his own shop, E & M Motors, in Stuart, FL. During his time as a shop owner, Keyes was an active leader in various industry organizations, including the Automotive Management Institute (AMi), Automotive Service Association (ASA) and the ACA. Keyes has also been involved in legislative advocacy efforts on behalf of the automotive industry, working to ensure the interests of shop owners and technicians are represented at the local, state and national levels.

As executive director of FLACA, Keyes will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization and working to advance the interests of the automotive industry in Florida. FLACA is a statewide organization that represents independent automotive service providers, including repair shops, parts stores and distributors.

"Gary Keyes is an outstanding addition to our team and FLACA and our members are in good hands," said FLACA President Brin Kline. "His experience as a shop owner and board member, as well as his advocacy work, make him uniquely qualified for this position. Keyes is excited to take on this new role and is committed to working on behalf of the independent automotive service providers in Florida.
