“This is going to be a long process but I am very optimistic that I will get through this whole process alive! I am strong and I am a fighter!” Linda said. “The prayers, blessings and support from our industry has been completely awesome and overwhelming. It is amazing how many people I know and how many lives I’ve touched.”
Holcomb is especially grateful for her close friend of 40 years, Maureen Holmes of Auto Collision Solutions in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. Maureen “is like my soul sister” said Linda. Her friend has been taking her to many doctor appointments and to chemo treatments.
Another good friend, Lillian Maimone, is organizing fundraising to help pay for Holcomb’s expensive cancer treatment costs, as well as living expenses, as Linda cannot work through treatment and does not have family to offer financial help. Linda said she recently received an injection to keep her white blood cell count up which cost $8,000, and three pills she takes after chemo cost over $400. Lillian hopes to raise $30,000 to help support Linda through the next several months. To donate, please contact Lillian Maimone at lillianm@marcoscollisioncenters.com or mail a check made out to Linda Holcomb at 317 Linwood Avenue, Unit B, Monrovia, CA 91016. We wish Linda all the best in her health and happiness.
