On September 27-29, DRIVE will present its 2019 DRIVE EXPO WEST at the Sheraton Fairplex Hotel & Conference Center in Pomona, CA.

DRIVE CEO Bill Kilpatrick predicted, “The upcoming three-day event in September will be the largest DRIVE EXPO yet. The event brings together shop owners and vendors in a unique environment where the exchange of ideas, networking and access to industry leaders is the stated mission.”

“This September’s EXPO will offer the management tools for each DRIVE client that they need to succeed,” Kilpatrick continued. “A key component of the EXPO is creating an environment where shop owners can meet and exchange ideas with other owners. This is unlike any other industry event.”

DRIVE is also excited to announce that the keynote speaker at the 2019 DRIVE EXPO WEST will be industry leader Chris Chesney, senior director of customer training at Advance Auto Parts. Kilpatrick stated, “We are honored that Chris Chesney will be delivering the keynote speech. He is one of the most revered experts in the North American automotive aftermarket. His unique insights and perspective will be well-received by DRIVE clients.”

Chesney added, “The mission of DRIVE perfectly aligns with my goal of informing and encouraging the industry to be ready for the continued tech evolution taking place in each shop today. I can’t wait to talk to, and learn from, the DRIVE clients at the EXPO in September.”

DRIVE EXPO WEST 2019 will also feature a live demonstration of asTech’s diagnostic scan tool. This on-site demo will showcase a vehicle being diagnosed using the asTech remote technology. Each demonstration will cover the real-time process, from set-up to end results, of a tech using the scanning tool, from set-up with the ASE certified tech at the asTech headquarters, to the final report which includes all data on the overall electronic status of the health and safety of the customer’s car.
