“The attendees were pleased with the meeting,” said Rodney Pierini, president and CEO of CAWA. “These leadership meetings are important because they bring contemporary issues to the members and industry, so they can decide for themselves what to consider implementing in their business and from their position within a company.”
In addition to committee and Board of Directors meetings, CAWA’s Summer Educational Forum and Leadership Meeting included a variety of seminars on contemporary automotive aftermarket issues, including “Financing Growth: Get Your Banker to Say ‘YES,’” “Automotive Aftermarket eCommerce Secrets—A Comprehensive Approach to Making Your Competitors Irrelevant,” “Understanding the Warehouseman’s Role in the Skilled Trades Supply Chain” and “The Greatest Threats Facing the Aftermarket Industry.”
During the meeting, CAWA’s Board of Directors elected Young Suhr, Jr to serve as secretary for the association.
“CAWA is critical to our industry and I’m so thankful to the Board for nominating and accepting me for this position,” Suhr said.
CAWA’s next leadership meeting will be held in Napa, CA, on February 20-21, 2020.
