The general session included four informational presentations:
• Mark Seng of IHS Markit presented “Key Automotive Trends Impacting the North American Aftermarket.”
• Joe Register, vice president of Emerging Technologies for the Auto Care Association, presented “Our Connected Future.”
• Tom Marx, principal of Hart-Marx Advisors, presented “Grow or Die.”
• “What You Might Expect in Legislation Next Year that Will Impact Your Business” was presented by Aaron Lowe, senior vice president of Regulatory and Government Affairs for the Auto Care Association; Gary Conover, California legislative advocate; and Jennifer Zins, director of Government Affairs.
