On June 10-12, over 200 automotive industry professionals, speakers and vendors attended ASA-Arizona's 2016 Automotive Training and Expo (ATE) at the WeKoPa Resort and Conference Center in Fort McDowell, AZ for a weekend filled with training, networking and resources for both collision and mechanical shops.

ASA Northwest Has Fun at 2016 Summer Retreat

Attendees enjoyed an evening of fun at the bowling alley during ASA Northwest's annual Summer Retreat and Management Conference on June 24.

On June 24-26, ASA Northwest held its annual Summer Retreat and Management Conference at the Shilo Inn Hotel in Ocean Shores, WA.

Matthias Kopecky, vice president of purchasing and product management at SSF Imported Auto Parts LLC, has been elected Secretary to the 2017 CAWA (California Automotive Wholesalers' Association) Board of Directors.

CAWA chairman of the board Greg Livingston of All Trade Tools has appointed Kent Van Oort of Federal-Mogul Motorparts to the Association’s Manufacturers’ Advisory Council (MAC).

ASA-AZ Tucson Chapter Hosts Student Awards Banquet

On May 11, the Tucson Chapter of ASA-AZ hosted the 56th Annual Student Awards Banquet in the JTED Banquet Room at Santa Rita High School. The Jim Click Automotive Team co-sponsored the event, where 16 students from mechanical and collision classes were recognized for excelling in their coursework.

ASA Northwest ATE Sells Out 3 Years in a Row

During the weekend of March 18-20, ASA Northwest produced their 2016 Automotive Training Expo (ATE) at the Doubletree Hilton Seattle Airport. Some of North America's best management and technical trainers presented 60 classes for mechanical, collision and service industry professionals.
