CAA Regrets to Announce the Passing of Past President Warwick Bryan

Warwick Bryan, owner of Precision CARSTAR located in Palmdale, CA, passed away on July 24th.

Tiffany Silva is a second-generation shop owner whose father Ed Cichon opened Accurate Auto Body in Richmond, CA, 36 years ago.

On June 27-30, ASA Northwest held its 2019 Summer Retreat and Management Conference at the Clearwater Resort in Suquamish, WA, with nearly 80 industry professionals in attendance.

Speakers at Southern CAA Meeting Discuss “The New Battleground”

Several prominent industry members took the podium on May 2 to educate the southern California Autobody Association (CAA) attendees on the importance of implementing OEM standards—the latest vehicle technology from manufacturers—and I-CAR updates that prepare technicians for the future.

On June 20-21, CAWA hosted its Summer Educational Forum and Leadership Meeting at the Kimpton Goodland Boutique Hotel in Goleta, CA.

Every year, there are a handful of state bills that are relevant to the collision repair industry.

From April 12—13, the Montana Collision Repair Association (MCRA) held its Spring Conference at the Best Western Premier Helena Great Northern Hotel in Helena, MT.


Rick Johnson, a former body shop owner who has been a leader in the collision repair industry for nearly 40 years, was named the new executive director of the California Autobody Association (CAA).

From March 22--24, ASA Northwest held its 2019 Automotive Training Expo (ATE) at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Seattle Airport. ATE is the largest automotive training event on the West Coast.
