ATE 2020 Postponed Until Summer

ATE 2020, the West Coast's largest automotive training expo, has been rescheduled for July 31 through Aug. 2, the event's producer, ASA Northwest, announced March 16 in a news release.
The expo was originally scheduled for March 27 through March 30.
The postponement is in response to Washington Gov. Jay Inslee's recent emergency ban on large gatherings of 250 people or more in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties for the remainder of March, due to the coronavirus and its complications to the public at large.
The ban applies to social, recreational, spiritual and other community gatherings, including parades, concerts, conventions, sporting events, fundraisers and festivals across those three counties.
Gov. Inslee noted it is “highly likely it will be extended” past the end of March.
The rescheduled expo will still be at the DoubleTree Hilton by SeaTac Hotel, which has cancelled the room block for the original dates, so attendees will not need to call the hotel to cancel rooms.
Organizers are working with all trainers to ensure the same classes are offered for the rescheduled ATE 2020.

"While it's regrettable that we have to postpone ATE 2020, we at ASA Northwest are most concerned about the health and safety of ATE participants, trainers, staff and volunteers," the news release said. "Thank you for your support and understanding during this difficult time."
