Collision Repair Education Foundation Announces July Online Virtual Golf Fundraiser

Golfing and online game enthusiasts around the globe are invited to join the Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF) "fore" its first virtual golf fundraiser, Saturday, July 25. 
After closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation both locally and nationwide for months, the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ) has made the difficult decision to cancel its 2020 NORTHEAST Automotive Services Show at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ.
In the face of continued restrictions for gathering, the Collision Industry Conference (CIC) will be held as a virtual meeting for the first time in its history.

ASE Begins to Resume Testing

The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) will begin to resume testing May 1 in selected areas of the country with test-center availability and lifted stay-at-home orders, it was announced by Tim Zilke, ASE president and CEO.
The ASE Education Foundation has canceled its Instructor Training Conference scheduled for July 14-17 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Frisco, TX.

GlassTEXpo™ ’20 Scheduled for May Canceled

Glass TEXpo™ ’20, scheduled for May 1-2, in San Antonio, TX, has been canceled due to the current worldwide health emergency surrounding COVID-19.
To protect the health and safety of all participants during the Covid-19 emergency, the 2020 Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo and the Latin Auto Parts Expo, initially scheduled for July 14-17, has been postponed to Nov. 17-20.
With the number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases escalating locally and across the U.S., the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of Minnesota (AASP-MN) announced all currently scheduled meetings and events will be canceled until further notice.
The Women’s Industry Network (WIN) has announced the cancellation of its 2020 Annual Educational Conference, scheduled for May 3-5 in Newport Beach, CA.

April CIC Meeting Cancelled

The Collision Industry Conference (CIC) announced March 13 it has cancelled its April meeting due to concerns surrounding the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Following the recommendation of county and state officials in Florida, executives with Barrett-Jackson on March 12 announced the company will postpone its 18th Annual Palm Beach Auction, scheduled for April 16 through April 18, at the South Florida Fairgrounds. 
The third annual HD Repair Forum, originally scheduled for March 24 and March 25 in Fort Worth, TX, has been postponed, due to the evolving situation with the COVID-19 outbreak and efforts associated to reduce rapid spreading of the virus.
The Rocky Mountain Trade Show has been postponed until Aug. 28 through Aug. 30, the Montana Collision Repair Association (MCRA) Board announced.
It came as no surprise this week when officials of the New York International Auto Show announced the dates for the event would move from April 10-19 to Aug. 28 through Sept. 6.
The National Auto Body Council® announced March 11 it will postpone the upcoming NABC™ Lone Star Pars for Cars Golf Fundraiser scheduled for April 2 in Dallas until May 27, due to travel restrictions for many of the event participants and concerns over the corona virus.
