NABC Recycled Ride® Program, Farmers Insurance®, Toyota of Richardson Donate Refurbished Vehicle to Veteran

On Aug. 24, a deserving Dallas veteran experienced a life-changing event---the presentation of a vehicle to provide her independence and the ability to work and take care of her family---thanks to the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides® program, along with car donor Farmers Insurance® and vehicle repair partner Toyota of Richardson, a Berkshire Hathaway Automotive company.

The presentation was held at Toyota of Richardson in Richardson, TX, following all state and local safe-distancing and health policies.

NABC™, Farmers Insurance® and Toyota of Richardson presented a refurbished 2010 Toyota Camry to Alisia Dunning, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Due to family issues, she has been facing financial issues that have prevented her from replacing an aging car that needs repairs. The gift of a refurbished vehicle will allow her to take care of her four children as well as her father, who recently had a stroke.

Additional partners in the NABC Recycled Rides® presentation include 1-800 Charity Cars, English Color, 3M, PPG and M2 Towing.
