Auto Body Repair Shops Among 'Essential Services' Still Available Under AZ ‘Stay-at-Home’ Order

Written by ABC 15 News Staff

Arizona will be under a stay-at-home order starting March 31, after Gov. Doug Ducey announced that additional precautions need to be taken by residents to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the community.

Ducey said his order is more "holistic" than some issued in other states, and referred to the declaration as a "Stay Home, Stay Healthy, Stay Connected" order.

In the March 30 order, Ducey said all businesses and operations deemed "essential" by the state will still be available to residents. In an earlier executive order issued last week, Ducey outlined which services were considered "essential.”

Among those are gas stations and auto supply, auto repair and related facilities, as well as vehicle sales, truck stops and bicycle shops and related facilities.
