Man Arrested in Macon, GA Dealership Car Theft

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputies arrested a Macon man for theft of a vehicle.

The incident happened January 24, 2020, 1:27 p.m. Deputies responded 3913 Riverside Drive, Carrabba’s, regarding meeting with the Manager of Hutchinson Automotive who had located one of their vehicles that was stolen.


Deputies were able to determine GMC Acadia was taken from the lot at Hutchinson. The Manager had attempted to locate the vehicle on the lot during the week but was unable to.


The OnStar system was activated, and the vehicle was located in the parking lot of Carrabba’s next door.


Deputies were able to look at the video from Carrabba’s surveillance system and determined that the person who parked the car there was an employee of Hutchinson Auto.


Deputies made contact with 21-year-old Keshawn Marquez Lundy, of Macon, at the detail shop of Hutchinson. He was taken into custody without incident and still had the keys to the vehicle on his person.


Lundy was never given permission to drive the vehicle.

Lundy was taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Theft by Taking Auto. He is being held on a $5,700.00 bond at this time.
