If you drive through the intersection where Lenoir Rhyne Boulevard meets Ninth Avenue South East you may have noticed the lot being cleared of trees next to K&M Collision auto body shop.

That’s because the body shop has plans to expand.

Meredith Bradshaw, who co-owns K&M with Kevin Bradshaw, said they purchased the lot recently and are preparing to add an 8,000-square-foot production space.

The lot currently being cleared next to K&M will serve as parking and storage. The eventual addition will be made to the rear of K&M, according to Bradshaw.

The addition will expand and grow their current operations, which include collision repair, refinishing and paint and more. “I hope to start in two to three months,” Bradshaw said.
