Woodbridge, VA, Teen Arrested in Car Theft From Auto Body Shop

A Woodbridge, VA, teen was charged with stealing a car from an auto body repair shop off Featherstone Road, according to Prince William police.

 

The 16-year-old boy is being held at the county’s juvenile detention center on a charge of burglary, police spokesperson Officer Renee Carr said. A court date is pending.

 

The teen allegedly damaged a side door to break into the Tan Auto Body & Paint at 14846 Persistence Dr. around 3:45 a.m. on Feb. 20.

 

He reportedly stole a Ford Fusion from inside the business. Officers located the vehicle on Arizona Avenue on Feb. 21.
