Despite the evening’s inclement weather, more than 60 young industry professionals attended the meeting to enjoy networking, libations, music and raffles.
Patrick O’Leary, president of DRIVE Sales and Marketing, gave a short speech.
“We’re here tonight with some of the absolute best young people in the industry who really want to grow their career and be part of a movement that takes the automotive aftermarket to the next level,” he said. “YANG provides a tremendous platform for young people in our industry to get involved, get educated and get engaged with industry trailblazers who want to propel the success of this industry with the next generation of leaders.”
More than 90 percent of the attendees at YANG’s Memphis Meet-Up were AutoZone employees and part of AutoZone’s NEXT GEN team, representing all areas of the business.
O’Leary noted, “The DRIVE Sales and Marketing team was pumped to host the YANG event and will be participating in YANG Leadership Days in Bonita Springs in May. It looks forward to supporting YANG and auto care associations in any capacity available to promote the automotive aftermarket’s success and growth.”
