In conjunction with Spring Leadership Days, the Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG) will hold a Meet-Up on the evening of May 9 and then proceed with the 2019 YANG Leadership Conference from May 10--11. YANG’s events will also be held at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point.
The first day of the Leadership Conference will commence with a welcome and opening remarks, followed by a state of the industry presentation delivered by Bill Hanvey, president and CEO of ACA.
Next, Mark Finestone, executive vice president of Merchandising, Marketing and Supply Chain for AutoZone, will present “Profiles in Leadership.” Nick Westergaard, chief brand strategist at Brand Driven Digital, will discuss “A Scrappy Look at the Future of Digital Marketing.” After a networking break, author and life coach Bryan Falchuk will present “Do a Day – Work Life Balance of a Young Professional.” The educational portion of the day will conclude with “Five for Five: 5-Minute Presentations by YANG Members.” Attendees will spend the evening enjoying a boat ride and dinner at Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille in Ft. Myers Beach.
Saturday’s agenda will begin with a networking breakfast, opening remarks and “Think Like a Lawyer, Only Don’t” with Todd Allen, partner at Lindsay and Allen, PLLC. Jim Merle and Scott Shriber of Babcox Media will present “A Year in Aftermarket News.” Jeff Koviak, vice president and general manager, North American Aftermarket at Tenneco, Inc, will then discuss “Profiles in Leadership.” Following the final networking break, speaker and coach Stacy Nadeau will lead a workshop on “Leveraging Soft Skills for Success.” The event will conclude with closing remarks.
