According to IGONC Executive Director Bob Pulverenti, “The event was well attended, especially considering it was right after the ASTE. The members felt that they learned a lot about the training center and the changes they are making for the future.”
The CARQUEST Training Institute’s Research Center provides training on a variety of topics as it tries to meet the needs of local shops by helping to keep their technicians working at their full potential. “Attendees were very interested to hear about the new structure of training classes, based on the needs of the community,” Pulverenti stated.
Dinner was provided, and IGONC discussed the success of the 2019 Automotive Service & Technology Expo. Pulverenti said, “This was our monthly meeting to get together for learning and networking. These events are a great chance for our shop owners and vendors to come together and learn.”
