On August 30, ASA-CNM hosted their Annual Golf Tournament and Fundraiser at the Isleta Golf Resort, located south of Albuquerque, NM. The beautiful sunny day offered a chance for shops and parts vendors to network and interact in a fun social setting. This year's event drew 122 golfers, the largest number of participants to date.
The Auto Body Association of Texas is focused on their future and saw close to 100 attendees participate in their Collision Industry Day, September 25 in downtown Fort Worth, Texas. The meeting room was lined with sponsors providing support to the Texas collision industry and there was not an empty seat to be had in the classroom. The group was highly energized and welcomed the speakers with rapt attention.

On Monday, April 20, ASA-CO members met at Lake Arbor Automotive in Westminster, Colorado for a Learning Circle on loaner and rental cars. Dana TePoel, ASA-CO board member and owner of Lake Arbor Automotive, said the 18 automotive service professionals in attendance discussed their varying business models as it pertains to this issue.
On April 16-18, the Texas Tire Dealers Association (TTDA) and the Texas Independent Automotive Association (TIAA) joined forces for the second year to host the 2015 Texas Tire and Automotive Expo at the Westin Stonebriar Hotel in Frisco, TX.
The Northwest Louisiana Collision Repair Association’s (NWLCRA) meeting was held on April 7 at Country Tavern Barbecue. Ken Braswell, President of the local NWLCRA, opened the meeting with a prayer and the reading of the Anti-Trust Law. They are seeking guest speakers for their May and June meetings.
The Louisiana Collision Industry Association (LaCIA) held a meeting in Metairie on Tuesday, March 24. The agenda covered what amount shops without a storage license can charge for storage fees and recent OSHA inspections in the area, as well as a plea for help for a local college collision repair program.
Alysia Hanks, Executive Director of LaCIA, said, "I think the meeting went great! A lot of information was shared, and I think it shows how having a strong association can benefit our industry."
On February 26, the Louisiana Collision Industry Association (LaCIA) held their first meeting of 2015.
