On May 25, the Auto Body Association of Texas (ABAT) hosted a Skeet Tournament at Elm Fork Shooting Sports in Dallas, TX. Open to all members of the collision repair industry, the fun networking event attracted ABAT members, non-member shops and their employees, jobbers and more.

LaCIA Spreads Word About Storage Rate Increases

On August 9, the Louisiana Collision Industry Association's (LaCIA) executive director, Alysia Hanks, distributed a bulletin to members from the Towing and Recovery Professionals of Louisiana which announced an increase to the storage rates for outside storage, covered storage and oversized storage, previously set at $5 per day. 

The Northwest Louisiana Collision Repair Association met at the Country Tavern Barbecue on August 2nd at 6:30 PM.

Houston area market rates are significantly higher than claimed by some insurance carriers.

On May 4-5, the Auto Body Association of Texas (ABAT) held Industry Change Leader presentations at the As-Tech facility in Plano, TX.
