Audi Integrates Toll Payments Into Car

Aside from all the announcements about autonomous driving tests and driverless ridesharing services coming down the road, some automakers are moving one small step at a time toward connecting cars for practical reasons for drivers.

Earlier this year, Ford revealed the world’s first-ever pursuit-rated hybrid police vehicle.

Ford is advising owners of certain additional North America 2006 Ford Ranger vehicles with Takata non-desiccated airbag inflators to stop driving their vehicles and contact their dealers immediately for repairs.

OEConnection LLC (OEC) distribution networks recently announced the issuance of US Patent No. 9,747,481.

18 Million Fewer Domestic Nameplates

While the car and light truck population on U.S. roads climbed by 19 million between 2006 and 2016, the number of domestic nameplates moved in the opposite direction. The domestic nameplate light vehicle population fell by 18 million over this 10-year span.

Ford On Target - 2017 Volume 2

Volume 2 of the Ford 2017 On Target publication is now available, according to I-CAR. Features of this volume include repair procedures, future technologies and replacement parts availability.
