PA Gov. Says State Will Start Gradually Reopening May 8

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf announced new details in his plan to reopen the state economy shut down by the coronavirus outbreak.

Wolf said the state is going to move towards reopening May 8. At an April 20 press conference, he announced small steps like allowing curbside liquor sales and starting construction projects while maintaining social distancing guidelines.

“There is still a statewide stay-at-home order, and that’s going to last until May 8,” Wolf said.

He called it a target date, and said the state will open region by region.
