Certified Collision of Long Island™ Earns Tesla Certification

Premium electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla has designated Certified Collision of Long Island in Freeport, NY, as a Tesla-approved body shop.

Certified Collision of Long Island is the sister shop of Precision Auto Works of Long Island City, NYC's only Tesla-certified shop. Certified Collision of Long Island and Precision Auto Works' owners and technicians completed more than 500 hours of training in the original Tesla Certification Program at the Tesla factory in Fremont, CA.

George Anastasopoulos, an owner of both Certified Collision of Long Island and Precision Auto Works, said, "I've been repairing Teslas since the first Roadster came in to our NYC shop in June 2011. My partner, Bill Kalosinis, and I are thrilled to achieve Tesla approval at our Long Island location since we built this shop from the ground up with Tesla repair in mind."

Eric Ross, partner/manager and Tesla factory-trained and certified technician, said, "Tesla vehicles can't be repaired in a typical body shop environment and pose unique challenges for both aesthetic and safety reasons. When a customer chooses Certified Collision of Long Island, they can be confident they are keeping their family safe since we can rebuild their vehicles to the original specifications and structural integrity."

Certified Collision of Long Island is a full service, I-CAR Gold Class collision repair shop with multiple manufacturer's certifications and special expertise in "new technology" aluminum, high strength steel and carbon fiber vehicles. The shop is open Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm and Saturday from 8am-3pm.
