These will be the first in a multi-segment series on estimating topics.
“We all need to slow down,” McNee said. “These interactive classes will bring us back to our grass roots, allowing us to concentrate on tasks that we may overlook or take for granted in the simplest procedures. Everyone on the team needs the outcome to be the same. We can’t afford to miss a single item.”
The seminars are scheduled for Tuesday, June 25 from 3-8 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Springfield, NJ, and on Tuesday, July 16 from 3-8 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Hamilton, NJ. In addition to AASP/NJ, seminar sponsors include Central Paint, Innovative Solutions & Technology, Metropolitan Car-O-Liner, Reliable Automotive Equipment and Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
The first segment in this series, designed for industry professionals with all levels of estimating experience, will focus on accurate diagnosis of all operations involved in one of the industry’s highest volume segments: light-damage, fast-track, single-panel repairs. Instructors will use interactive discussion and exercises to teach attendees how to write an effective, consistent repair plan that captures all billable hours.
The cost to attend, which includes dinner, is $150 per person. Those who sign up for a new association membership at the seminar will receive a $100 discount on their association membership fee. Due to limited space, pre-registration is required. For more information or to register for a seminar, visit aaspnj.org.
