The association will donate $1000 of funds raised to the John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack Medical Center which is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, management, research, screenings, preventative care and survivorship of patients dealing with all types of cancer.
According to AASP/NJ President Jerry McNee, “Once again, the popular event brought together members of the AASP/NJ community for a fun evening of racing and social time in support of a good cause. Dozens of racers took to the track to speed along in electric go-karts in a friendly three-race series where they vied for the top spot.”
James Moyes of Krehel Auto took first place for the second time with Keith Krehel coming in second and Robert Tallaksen of Robbie’s Automotive and Collision Specialists taking third place. Krehel, AASP/NJ’s Mechanical Chairman said, “It was great to see all these guys in a non-work environment, each having a great time and team building. As far as me coming in second place this year, I personally guarantee that James won’t beat me again next year, as I won’t invite him. Just kidding.”
“AASP/NJ would like to thank everyone who participated in this year’s Race Night and is already looking forward to Race Night 2020,” McNee said.
