AASPI to Host 2019 Golf Outing


The Alliance of Automotive Service Professionals of Illinois (AASPI) will host its 2019 Golf Outing on August 1 at the Old Orchard Country Club in Mt. Prospect, IL. The annual event attracts an average of 140 golfers and industry suppliers for fun, food and prizes while supporting the work of AASPI. A portion of the proceeds benefit Misericordia Heart of Mercy which provides a continuum of care for people with developmental disabilities.


Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the event will kick off with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Registration for the four-person, 18-hole scramble costs $140 per golfer and includes lunch on the course, a banquet dinner and a chance at door prizes.

Women in Auto Care Hosts Auto Care Summer Leadership Conference


On August 7-8, Women in Auto Care will host its 2019 Summer Leadership Conference at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center in collaboration with AIA Canada. Featured speakers include Judi Holler and Melissa Marshall.


This year’s event will begin on Tuesday evening with Cocktails and Connections—a networking opportunity. Wednesday will start with a volunteer activity, followed by a meet and greet, welcome lunch, general sessions, and a GM world dinner event. After breakfast on Thursday, attendees will separate for breakout sessions, rejoining after lunch for general sessions and the closing reception which includes a YANG Regional Meet-up.


Each year, Women in Auto Care organize and host winter and summer conferences with dynamic speakers and workshops.
